    The food here has gotten better since last year, the first time I ate here I felt like I had been robbed. The food was ok but nothing special. how every the last two times the new menu items have really seemed like high end southern vittles. Last time I was there had the Duck leg for about $12 and it was on par with any I have had anywhere. The text of a good meal is would you go back. I would go to 118 every other day it time could permit and I don't think I would be hurt by the food.

    Nuh-uh! I don't think we are coming here again! We came here for my birthday dinner. The fried oyster appetizer and the shrimp fritter pancake appetizer was good. For the entree we got the filet. It was mushy and yucky! I hope my doggie likes it cause it's all in the to-go box!

    Overrated My wife and I went to Table 118 this weekend for the first time. We ordered the short ribs appetizer, and it while it was tasty, the dish was warm and not hot. In addition, the short ribs were placed on top of biscuits that were very hard...they were either over cooked or were stale. For our entrees, my wife had the crab cakes, and I had the special, which was duck confit. My wife said that her crab cakes were OK but not a great tasting crab cake as she stated she had better. In addition, her portion size of the crab cakes were small...each of the three crab cakes on her plate were the approximate size of a mini-cupcake. Combined, the three crab cakes would probably be the size of one normal sized crab cake. My duck confit was not good...it was extremely dry. It looked and tasted as though it had been pre-made from the day before and then reheated. I mentioned this to the host, and he claimed that the duck confit was freshly made. In my personal opinion, it was not freshly made. I ate it though, but was not pleased at the quality of our meals as we drove from Florence to try this restaurant and was expecting much better than what we received. However, I think he took half off the price as I noticed the reduced charge on my bill, which was nice of him to do so. Also, there were no tablecloths on any of the tables as it shows on one of the Yelp review pictures. This could have been a much better experience if they focused on the small things that diners would expect of this restaurant as they are touting this as an upscale alternative restaurant in the area. My wife and I are undecided if we would try Table 118, again, but if we do, we now know better to ask questions about the entrees before we order.

    Who would have thought that I would find a restaurant as good as any NYC restaurant in little Lake City, SC? The salad with beets and goat cheese fritter on top was delicious! The bread with some kind of flavored butter- I could have eaten the entire basket! Great destination for a high quality treat! A little pricey for this area though, but worth it!r

    I placed a large to go order $150 and had to wait about 30 minutes past the pick up time. The owner who was quite rude also tacked on a 30% tip, which I felt was ridiculous considering it was a "pick up" order. The pizza was bland with very skimpy topping, fries were cold and portions were super small. Not a good experience at all!

    It takes a special kind of BAD to mess up pizza! Seriously, you can get a better pizza for $0.89 at your local grocery store!! Instead, I paid $12 for a "pizza" that was more like a soggy, cold, "pizza-like" substance made up of a !!LITERALLY!!!PAPER THIN crust, that actually DID taste like paper, but with an after taste of sawdust with notes of garbage and accents of glue for cheese, water and plastic for "tomato sauce" NEVER AGAIN! Pathetic!

    My husband and I ate here for dinner tonight, and I hate to admit that I was completely underwhelmed by the experience. We were one of two tables at 6pm, and our server immediately notified us that they were out of ribeyes. We ordered the ribs as an appetizer and the duck and half chicken as entrees. Our waiter came back once to tell us that they were out of ribs and recommended the scallops (which were good). We had finished our scallops when the waiter came back to tell us that they were unable to do the half chicken as ordered but could do "something special" with chicken breast. What I got was two chicken breasts in a tarragon white wine sauce over mashed potatoes with three undercooked asparagus spears. The chicken was good, but it really wasn't terribly noteworthy. The duck was excellent though and was the saving grace of the meal. I really wanted to be able to rave about our experience since I think it's awesome to have a nicer dining option in Lake City, but our experience tonight just fell flat.
